Verbero Sales Representative and former National Hockey League Official Tim Peel is bringing his extensive knowledge of the NHL rulebook to Daily Faceoff for the 2021-22 season.
“I’m joining Daily Faceoff for this upcoming season to help explain why things happen the way they do on the ice,” Peel announced on Twitter. “I’ll answer your questions, talk about the nuances of officiating and help explain calls, questionable hits and suspensions.”
Peel officiated his first NHL game on Oct. 21, 1999, in a game between the Colorado Avalanche and Ottawa Senators, going on to call 1,362 regular season matches plus another 90 games in the playoffs.
A valuable member of the St. Louis hockey community, Peel joined forces with 15-year NHL veteran & Verbero Owner Andy Sutton to become a Verbero representative after the 2020-21 season.
