Verbero Partners with Hockey Indigenous To Support Youths
Verbero has made it a mandate to inspire and power athletes, and is proud to partner with Hockey Indigenous to support the minor hockey players from First Nation, Métis and Inuit backgrounds.
Hockey Indigenous empowers players by improving their performance, creating healthy habits and establishing a versatile lifestyle. Athletes and organizations involved with Hockey Indigenous can elevate their game with top-quality Verbero equipment and on-demand team servicing.
“We at Hockey Indigenous are very excited to partner with Verbero Hockey as it aligns within our Mandate to help Indigenous Youth and Families across Turtle Island,” Hockey Indigenous CEO and Co-Founder Stephane Friday said.
“Our main goal is to help First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Youth to succeed and give them a space for opportunity, motivation, and allowing athletes to grow.”
Hockey is for everyone and Verbero strives for inclusion in the sport. Verbero will also assist in Hockey Indigenous’ mission to stop the stigma of Paternalism, Discrimination and Racism.
"Despite all the progress and coverage on equality, Indigenous communities are still often looked over and that’s a problem," Verbero Director of Women's Hockey Marc Parizeau said. "Let’s work together to give every kid an opportunity to play."
