Amanda Pelkey

Amanda Pelkey
At three years old, Amanda Pelkey fell in love with hockey and would spend the Vermont winters skating endlessly on the home rink her dad built.

Her passion for the game led her to the North American Hockey Academy in Stowe, VT, which prepared her for an NCAA career in her home state with the University of Vermont Catamounts. She holds the UVM records for most goals, assists, and points with 105 points accumulated over four years. She credits her discipline and willingness to make sacrifices as a key part of reaching her Olympic dreams in 2018, where she won a Gold medal in PyeongChang with Team USA.

While suiting up with Team USA for World Championships and Olympic games, a decorated NCAA DI career, and being a member of the NWHL’s Boston Pride are significant career highlights, Amanda Pelkey isn’t done yet, on or off the ice.

As the founder of AMP Hockey, which offers hockey camps across the USA for young players, and a member of the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA), Amanda Pelkey is ensuring that the young girls sacrificing for their dreams have the role models and opportunities to reach those dreams.
